Video game: Parasite Eve Debuted: Anime USA 2005, Anime USA 2006
Notes: This
costume was a quick project of two days in total. Parasite Eve is my all-time
favorite video game! I have always wanted to cosplay as Aya Brea, and I finally
did it when I had some shiny black fabric lying around, and a blonde wig to use
at my disposal. I already had the shoes as well, so this was a really low cost and
fast costume for me to make for an upcoming convention between my busy hours
spent studying. The wig was a horror that ended in me having to put extensions
into the back of it; it was made from my old
Ashley Graham wig. I almost gave up on
it and threw it away in mid styling...but It somehow came out okay. I
was not 100% happy with that wig, so I did
end up re-styling a new wig, and it came out much more accurate looking!
Anime USA 2006: I got a new wig! But now the dress was too big on me, and it desperately
needed to be remade.
