Notes: These are our favorite costumes ever- we met in them at Otakon 2002! We will probably never retire them as long as we are still cosplaying. They are sort of our on-going project in which we improve upon as our skills grow.

Anime USA 2006:
I originally did not plan to take my Edea costume to Anime USA 2006, but some of my friends were taking their Final Fantasy 8 costumes, and so I was tempted into the costume again! This time, I completely re-made the headpiece again, because I'm completely insane! I ended up being much more busy with classes than I had thought, and I hardly finished it in time! I actually finished the backpeice and headpeice in the hotel room right before I wore it!

I think it was worth it in the end...  it came out much smoother looking, I  fine tuned the little details, and re-painted it with mixed metallic paints. I love how it came out! It seems to fit my head much more tightly...and is much  more comfortable now! I did make a new back piece to wear to East Coast conventions, but after all the stress of trying to finish it in the hotel room, I realized I forgot the sheer material that hangs from it at home...so I decided against wearing it. It turned out to be a good thing though, because the con area was really crowded into a smaller area...and getting around with it would of been nearly impossible...Plus, we had to take a shuttle to and from the convention, and it probably wouldn't of fit in well! :(  Oh and I also was sure to have some major Edea cleavage goin' on!!! hahaha. BOOBS!

Anime Expo 2006:
I finally got to bring my Sorceress Edea costume to Anime Expo!  Updates to the costume included: a new back peice by Lionel of Usagichan.com, lowered neckline, new beaded/decorated back peice material to go with it, and awesome new contacts. I felt extremely lucky to even be able to wear this costume as it was pretty complicated getting it to California in one piece. The side "bun" and spokes for the silver fan never got to the convention, so the night before I was supposed to wear it Neon Genocide and I were able to craft it quickly, and use tooth picks for the spokes of the fan. Good thing I brought some paints along with me! It turned out being a little small, but worked out alright in the end. So horraaay!

Anime USA 2005:
My make-up was done for Yaya's make-up panel. She did a wonderful job with it! In addition to that, I fixed up the back piece from the ordeals of Otakon, re-made a few details on the head piece, added claws to the gloves, added more ribbon to the back piece material, and did some beading at the bottom of the back piece material. Unfortunately, it isn't seen readily in photos.

Otakon 2005:
Worn on August 19, 2005. The very last and final version of my headpiece. I am happy with the way it fits my head, and I was able to wear it for the entire day of Friday at Otakon 2005 without much of a problem. Minor headache, but meh, I dealt with it. And also...EVIL YELLOW CONTACTS! RARRRR!!! =D
